he Harmony Grove Lady Hornets gave the home team Drew Central senior girls a run for their money for while, but eventually fell to the Lady Pirates in the semifinals of the 8-3A district tournament on Thursday, 48-36.

Harmony Grove’s junior girls were also defeated in their district tournament on Thursday, falling to Parkers Chapel 43-23.

In the senior girls game, Harmony Grove trailed 10-4 after one quarter of play but outscored Drew Central 13-9 in the second to get within 19-17 at halftime. The Lady Pirates pulled away from the Lady Hornets with a 19-6 third quarter,...
