SMACKOVER — It took the Stephens boys a little while to find their stride, but once the Roadrunners got rolling, they sped right past the Smackover Buckaroos.

Stephens improved to 27-4 on the season by defeating Smackover 71-41 in the semifinals of the 7-2A East district tournament on Thursday. Stephens will now take on Junction City in the championship game Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

After the two teams played pretty evenly for the first six minutes of the game, Stephens got five straight points from Cornelious Blackmon to take a 19-10 lead at the end of the first quarter. ...
