A suspect in the March 2009 murder of a Camden resident was in court again this week in a pre-trial hearing.

William Eric Colten, 24, of Thornton, and his attorney appeared before Circuit Judge Edwin Keaton to ask for a continuance of his case, which was scheduled for Feb. 16-19.

Colten was granted the continuance.

Information from the circuit clerk’s office shows that the sheriff’s office was granted an order to transport Colten to the South Arkansas Regional Health Center for a forensic evaluation Wednesday.
