Suit contends Pilgrim’s Pride violated federal acts

A lawsuit filed recently in a Texas Federal Court on behalf of contract poultry growers who were left in the lurch after Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation shuttered its El Dorado operations contends that the poultry giant violated the Fair Trade Practices Act, as well as the Packers and Stockyard Act, among other allegations.
