Chief Deputy Assessor Debbie Lambert has announced plans to seek election as Ouachita County assessor in the upcoming Democratic primary in May.

Lambert has been chief deputy to the assessor for 14 years. She is the wife of Michael Lambert and the mother of two children, J.R. and Chandra.

Lambert attended Southern Arkansas University Tech in East Camden in 1975.

She is a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Bearden.
