A $5 million grant program is now available for small cities and counties to carry out energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, a state agency said.

The money can be used by cities and counties to complete building energy audits, install energy efficient lighting, and replace windows and doors, among other things, according to the Arkansas Energy Office, a division of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
