A Camden resident reported today that she received a telephone call from a man, with a heavy foreign accent, who told her she had won $250,000 from Publishers Clearing House.

The man also told her that she would have to send a $250 processing fee, before receiving her winnings.

“It was then that I knew it was a scam and told him I wouldn’t do it,” she said, adding the caller hung up and she called local police.

That’s what anyone receiving such a call should do - call the police.
