Despite injuries to a pair of starters, the Harmony Grove baseball team is off to a good start this season, winning four of its first five games, according to head coach John Kinley.

Kinley, who took over coaching the baseball Hornets after James Galarza resigned last summer, said the Hornets opened their season a week ago with a 4-3 win over Gurdon. The Hornets then downed Hampton 12-2 on Thursday before starting play in the Camden Fairview Cardinal Classic.
