Jerry West, justice of the peace for District 11, has announced that he will seek re-election for the quorum court seat during the Democratic primary in May.

He is a lifelong resident of Camden, a graduate of Camden High School and attended Arkansas State Teachers College, according to his news release. West is retired from Proctor Funeral Home after 18 years of service.

Prior to that, his working years were as an oil and gas broker. He is currently self-employed in the same field.
