A 22-year-old woman was arrested Thursday night after she allegedly tried to smuggle contraband to her boyfriend in the Ouachita County Jail, according to Ouachita County Chief Deputy Joe Strickland and O.C.S.O. deputies Cameron Owens and John Hemauer.

Kimberly Garrett, of Camden, was arrested around 7 p.m. Thursday after Hemauer caught her allegedly trying to smuggle the prohibited items in some clothing she wanted to have delivered to her incarcerated boyfriend, Owens said.

The deputies would not disclose what the items were that were found.
