The Hogskin Holidays Festival, to be held April 9 and 10, will offer a $500 scholarship to the Teen and Miss winners of the Hogskin Holidays Pageant. The pageant is usually held one week before the festival, but this year, the pageant will be held on Saturday, March 27, at the Calhoun County fair building to avoid conflict with the Easter holiday. Pageant contestants may even use the scholarship to take a college course before graduating high school, according to a news release.
