A manufactured home, recently moved into a Fairview area neighborhood, is there to stay as long as the owner makes the required adjustments.

That’s what neighbors in an area that includes Fearing, Sales, Jenkins and Tate streets were told by members of the Camden Planning Commission during the commission’s regular monthly meeting Thursday.

After listening to residents’ concerns, the commission agreed to research state-allowed regulations of manufactured homes and to look at the possibility of creating a new zone for the city.
