The body of a 44-year-old Camden woman was sent to the state Crime Laboratory Thursday by Camden police.

Camden Police Department Capt. Scott Rosson, head of the department’s Criminal Investigation Division, told the Camden News that the body of Angela Scott was found near the front steps of a Lyons Lane home by a person staying at the home.

Ross said there were no visible signs of trauma or foul play, but all unattended deaths are investigated and sending the body to Little Rock for a cause of death is standard procedure.
