About 200 to 250 people came and went from the auction at the old Camark Pottery site on Pottery Road on Saturday.

Some came to bid on antiques and odds and ends that belong the Charles Ashcraft family. Ashcraft bought the landmark pottery site several years ago with some thought that maybe one day the pottery could again produce the much sought after decor items it was know for across the country.

That didn’t happen and the Ashcraft family decided to auction the contents of several outbuildings once used by the pottery.
