Former resident and sometime mayoral candidate Richard Percefull was awarded $117,000 in the recent settlement of his suit against Mayor Chris Claybaker. The settlement was the resolution a near seven-year old issue involving the removal of a fishing boat from a city park.

The case was settled in January and the city announced its part of the settlement was $11,700. The remainder of the settlement was paid by the Arkansas Municipal League.
