Murder defendant gets trial continuance

A defendant in the 2009 murder of William Wilson Jr. was granted a continuance during a plea and arraignment day in Circuit Judge Edwin Keaton’s court on Monday.

Felicia Dawn Wilson, 29, 1395 Yuma St., Camden, appeared before Keaton along with her attorney, Eugene Bramblett, as Bramblett asked for a continuance. It was determined that Wilson’s co-defendant, William Eric Colten, 24, of Thornton, will be tried first, and Colten was granted a continuance of his trial in February.

His trial was initially scheduled for Feb. 16-19 and it has now been scheduled for May 25-28...
