EL DORADO – Arkansas law requires that all female cattle between the ages of 4 to 12 months of age be vaccinated against the reproductive system disease known as Brucellosis (Bangs), according to Robin Bridges, Union County Extension agent with the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service.

On-farm Bangs clinics will be conducted April 12 and 19. “Our office has made arrangements with the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission to conduct an on-farm vaccination program for any Union County producer needing assistance,” said Bridges.
