A fire that damaged a Dunning Street house may have been caused by a juvenile who had been smoking on the porch of the vacant structure.

Camden police dispatched firefighters to 1006 Dunning shortly after 10 p.m. Monday.

According to Camden Fire Department Capt. Cary Bennett, a fire department report stated $5,000 in damage was caused to the wood frame home.

The fire was confined to the porch area, Bennett said, adding that no injuries were reported.

Firefighters left the scene about an hour and a half later.
