Feelings mixed over injured-inmate deal
HOT SPRINGS — While Garland County could soon settle the case of two county detention center officials found “deliberately indifferent” to an inmate’s medical needs in 2007 for $450,000, the attorney representing the plaintiff says he is “ambivalent” about the proposed settlement.
