Camden mayoral candidate Stan Kendall’s public remarks about the Camden Police Department are drawing fire from Police Chief William O’Keefe.

Kendall, a former Camden Police Department sergeant who is currently on leave as a deputy with the Ouachita County Sheriff’s Office, has made several comments about the department while speaking at Neighborhood Watch and civic organization meetings since announcing his candidacy earlier this summer.
