Local man pleads guilty in district court

Conner Eldridge, United States Attorney for the Department of Justice, Western District of Arkansas, has announced that Camden resident Cedric Johnson, 35, pleaded guilty Thursday to conspiracy to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine. These charges mean that Johnson faces a sentence of 10 years to life in prison.

Johnson pleaded guilty to planning to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine, even though he did admit in his plea agreement that he did conspire with numerous individuals to distribute up to 150 kilograms of the drug in and around Camden, according to ...
