The Ouachita County Sheriff’s Office and Joe Strickland - who was the chief deputy at OCSO - have announced the Strickland has retired from the sheriff’s office, effective Aug. 17, and OCSO Sheriff David Norwood told the Camden News that he has appointed Jason Dickinson as the new chief deputy.
