Steven and Jennifer Cropper announce the birth of a daughter, Slayton Saige, at 8:18 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at the Ouachita County Medical Center.

She weighed 6 pounds, 14.3 ounces and was 19 inches long.
