Things didn’t go well for the Harmony Grove Hornets in the first round of the 8-3A district tournament on Tuesday, as both their junior boys’ and seniors boys’ seasons came to an end with first-round losses.

After the Junior Hornets were defeated by Lafayette County 47-42 in double overtime, the senior high Hornets lost to Rison 58-45.

In the junior boys game, Harmony Grove led 8-5 after one quarter and 17-15 at halftime, before Lafayette County came back to take a 30-24 lead after three quarters of play.
