Lady Bears fall 57-22

SARATOGA — The scouting report said Wickes was a hot shooting 3-point team, but someone probably should have warned the Bearden Lady Bears about the Lady Warriors defense as well.

The Lady Bears struggled to score against the No. 1 ranked team in Class 2A all night, and fell to the Lady Warriors 57-22 Wednesday night in the first round of the 2A South Regional tournament. Bearden ends its season at 17-10.

In the other girls game of the night, Norphlet rolled past Horatio 73-54.
