BATON ROUGE — LSU no longer has to worry about being the first SEC basketball team in 56 years to go winless in conference play.

The Tigers got their first SEC victory this season at Arkansas’ expense, beating the Razorbacks 65-54 on Wednesday night at Maravich Assembly Center.

“Losing period is the toughest thing,” Arkansas sophomore guard Rotnei Clarke said. “Their record doesn’t really matter to us.”
