Hogs see chances slip away vs. LSU
BATON ROUGE — LSU didn’t need a late rally to defeat Arkansas a second consecutive game.
The Tigers were in control from the start Sunday, beating the Razorbacks 5-1 before 4,147 fans at Alex Box Stadium. Mike Mahtook and Trey Watkins hit home runs for LSU, while Brett Eibner connected for Arkansas. LSU (16-3, 2-1 SEC) came back to win the series after losing 6-3 on Friday and trailing 5-1 to the Razorbacks (13-5, 1-2) on Saturday.
