MAGNOLIA – Southern Arkansas shortstop Andrew Whittington (6-2, 200, SR, Texas City, Texas) and starting pitcher Hayden Simpson (6-0, 175, JR, Magnolia) have been named the Gulf South Conference West Division baseball player and pitcher of the week, respectively, for their performances in the Muleriders’ four wins over William Carey and Henderson State last week.
