Students from Lincoln High attend reunion

Around 350 former graduates and families of former graduate of Lincoln High School are in town to celebrate the school’s 16th Bi-Annual Reunion.

The festivities started on Thursday with a meet-and-greet and an after-party at The Right Spot.

Today, the reunion continues with a luncheon and a fashion show at the area's armory building. The former students will return to the armory at 7 p.m. today for more activities.

On Saturday, the Lincoln reunion group and will have a picnic at noon, which will also be at the armory.

Also, reunion members are invited to a worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday at Bethel AME Church. The reunion will conclude with a worship service at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Sunday.

According to the school’s Facebook page, Lincoln High School was phased out in Camden in 1970 due to the integration of the Camden Public School System. The site states that, "although gone as a school, the learning, the memories and the principles that were instilled in the students who attended Lincoln High School will never be erased from their minds and hearts."
