Sylvan Hills Church to a hold ‘family sale’

Sylvan Hills Baptist Church, 3584 Arkansas 376 S. in Camden, will hold a three-family sale from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. on April 5-6.

The sale will have household items, lamps, decorations, collectibles, kitchenware, computer equipment, file cabinets, tools, a trolling motor, walkers, canes, baby clothing and more.

Cullendale Assembly sets ‘Drive-thru BBQ’

Cullendale Assembly of God, 3250 Cash Road, will hold a “Drive thru BBQ” from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, April 6.

Dinners will be $10 per plate.

hold gospel program

Pilgrim Chapel Baptist Church in Locust Bayou will hold an “Old-Style Musical” at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 6.

hold trustee program

Mt. Vernon African Methodist Episcopal Church on Nevada 173 in Stephens will hold its annual trustee program at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 7. The guest speaker will be the Rev. V. Waller of Harrison Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Waterloo. Lunch will be served, and all area churches are invited.

The Arkadelphia Fellowship District of the 4th Jurisdiction of Arkansas will hold its annual “Women in Red” meeting at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, at Rocky Hill Church of God in Christ. The speaker will be District Missionary Odie M. Owens.

its 107th anniversary

Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 515 N. Madison Ave., will celebrate its 107th church anniversary at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 7. The guest church will be New St. James AME Church, and the guest speaker will be the Rev. Michael Harris. Lunch will be served at 1:30 p.m.

New Haven Baptist Church, 336 Stewart St., will observe its 62nd church anniversary at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 14.

Good Home Baptist Church will be the guest church.

Oasis Church to host

Easter egg program

Oasis Church will host a community-wide Easter Egg Hunt from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, April 20 at Carnes Park. There will be bounce houses, games, face painting, snacks and more.
