The Harmony Grove Hornets picked up a big win on the diamond on Monday when it defeated Lafayette County, 15-0.

The Hornets jumped out to an early lead in the bottom of the first inning with three runs. The team added two in the second before blowing the game open with ten in the third and ending the game on the 15-run rule.

Grant Bearden and Brandon Harris (triple) both scored two runs. Landon McMahen hit a double and scored two while Zach Smith was 2/2 with a run. Carson Everett (double), Houston Bryant, Gannon Bearden, Jayce Posey (triple), Austin McDonald, Chase Sharp, Dylan Garrett and Jonah Douglass added a run each.

Everett, Zack Jernagan and Dylan Garrett shared the pitching duties with Everett striking out five in two innings of action from the mound.
