CAMDEN — Under Construction at Macedonia
El Dorado Mayor Veronica Smith-Creer speaks during the annual women’s conference at Macedonia Baptist Church. The theme for the conference was “Women under construction.” Creer spoke about the obstacles she overcame to become the first African American woman to be elected as mayor in El Dorado and shared encouraging words with the attendees. The event also featured a fashion show and an exhortation from author Ranita Hoof.
