CAMDEN — Theresa Griffis
Theresa Ann “Tag” Griffis, age 65 of Texarkana, Arkansas died Monday, December 16, 2019 at her home. She was born June 26, 1954 in Camden, Arkansas. She was a retired school teacher and a Baptist. She is preceded in death by her father, George Earl Griffis. Tag is survived by her mother, Frances Griffis of Bearden; one brother, Travis (Hilda) Griffis of Bearden; two nieces, Amy (John) Ray of Bearden, and Tracy Griffis of Bearden; one great niece, Madison Ray of Bearden; three great nephews, Shawn Ray, Aiden Frazier and Cailen Frazier all of Bearden; one step niece, Ashley (Clint) Vaughan of Bearden; two step great nieces, Lanee and Libby Vaughan of Bearden; one step great nephew, Huntley Vaughan of Bearden; and special friends, Rita Hogue of North Little Rock and Sara Johnson of Waldo. Visitation will be Wednesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. today at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Shaun George officiating.
