Sharon Diane Smith Jordan, 63, of Pine Bluff and formerly of Mt. Pine, died on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019.

Sharon was a graduate of Mt. Pine High School and Quapaw Vo-Tech where she received her degree in nursing.

During her career she worked for the Mt. Pine School District, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chicot Memorial Hospital, Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

She served as a school nurse for the Camden Fairview School System and was currently working as a school nurse for the Pine Bluff School System.

In her younger years, she was a faithful member of Eureka Baptist Church and later became a member of Concord Baptist Church in Camden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Columbus and Lucille Brim Smith Sr; and her siblings, Vera Smith, Columbus Smith Jr. and Gary Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Coach Prestard “P.J.” Jordan of Pine Bluff; her sons, Zachary (Kendra) Jordan of Bryant and Justin (Kimberly) Jordan of Fayetteville; granddaughters, Zarrah, Averie and Kamryn; two brothers, Michael (Doris) Smith of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Kevin (Tryla) Smith of Fort Smith; her “mother-in-love,” Carrie Ross of Fordyce; a special nephew, Marcus Smith of Pine Bluff; and her extended family.

Arrangements are entrusted to Carrigan Memorial Funeral Services in Hot Springs.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Judah Restoration Center, 2401 South Main Street, Pine Bluff. Burial will be at Mt. Pine Cemetery in Mt. Pine, Arkansas.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at Eureka Baptist Church, 721 Gaines Street, Hot Springs.
