The Camden mayoral candidates for the 2018 filed final paperwork for campaign contributions and expenditures last month according, to the Ouachita County Clerks office.
Court documents show that the winner of the election, Mayor Julian Lott, received $11,716.32 in contributions. The campaign spent $11,684.94.
From this amount:
• $790 was spent on T-shirts and hats.
• $6,859.550 from the campaign funds were spent on advertising in print, radio and other news mediums.
Candidate David Chilcote received $13,045 in contributions and the campaign reported $12,849.82, with $9,406.37 from the campaign was spent on advertising in print, radio and other mediums.
Then incumbent Marie Trisollini raised $1,014.71 and spent $1,014.71. All money was spent on advertising.
Surplus funds from campaign donations were given to non-profits organizations.
