James Hall

— James Hall

James Franklin Hall was born on September 15, 1946, in Camden, Arkansas, to Robert Hall and Dorothy Torrence. He died on Jan. 27, 2018.

He worked at several different occupations and was a jack-of-all-trades. Affectionately called “Pretty Gold” and “Phil” by family and close friends, Phil had a knack for endearing people to him. His effusive personality was contagious and brought joy to those close to him. Phil will be remembered for quick satirical wit, his ability to tell a tall tale, his zest for life, and living life on his own terms. His loyalty to those of whom he called friends knew no bounds. His outspoken demeanor and character will be remembered by those that knew him well. For the lives that Phil touched, he will never be forgotten.

Phil was preceded in death by his father, Robert; his mother, Dorothy; and his sister, Daisy (Hall) Fogle.

He is survived by his sisters, Dorthy Culpepper and Wanda Elliott; his six nieces; five his nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
