Donald Edwards

Donald Edwards, 91, of Stephens, Arkansas, died on Monday, Feb. 11, 2019, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, Arkansas.

Donald was born on Oct. 22, 1927, in Mt. Holly, Arkansas. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed with the Albemarle Corporation until he retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Minnie (McDonald) Edwards; brothers, Willard Edwards and Roy Edwards; and a sister Nell Stewart.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Janet Edwards of Stephens; sister, Sarah Edwards of Hico, Louisiana; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Stephens Cemetery with Bro. Sandy Carter officiating.
