CAMDEN — Gary Marshall
Gary Lee Marshall, 68, of Spearsville, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.
Gary was born on Sept. 12, 1950, in Marked Tree, Arkansas, a son of the late James E. and Hazel Marlene Brewer Marshall. Gary was a 1968 graduate of Fairview High School, retired from the United States Marine Corp, Army Reserve and Lockheed Martin. Gary accepted Christ while serving in the Marines and was of the Methodist faith.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Dorothy Marshall and Glenda Marshall; son, Brad Marshall; and a brother, Bobby Marshall.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Lisa Smith and husband, Jeff, of Camden, Arkansas; brother, Cary Marshall and wife, Debra, of Monticello, Arkansas; grandchildren, Payton Marshall (Julia), Bradli Marshall, Ashley Williams (Travis), Victoria Deal ( Daron); two great-grandchildren, Eli Williams and Brayden Deal; and special friend, Elizabeth “Ellie” Damers of El Dorado, AR.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Terri Lynn Bunnell officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, at the funeral home.
