Barbara A. Spells Faulkner, born on March 22, 1945, passed away on Dec. 28, 2018, in Richland, Washing-ton.
She owned and operated a daycare out of her house for 27 years, retiring in 2006. She wasn’t a renowned scientist, engineer, etc., but more important than those is that she was a faithful wife and good mother even while suffering from health problems and pain. Most importantly she was a born again child of God.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Mildred Black Spells; brother, Bobby Spells; brother, Ronald Spells; sister, Peggy Harrison; and daughter, Donna Tollison.
She is survived by son, Richard (Rick) Faulkner and wife, Charmine, of Kennewick, Washington; son, David (Dave) Faulkner of Kennewick; sister, Martha Francis Hutcheson and husband, Charles; brothers, George Spells and wife, Audrey, Jerry Spells and wife, Deborah, Gary Spells and wife, Sue, and Mike Spells; five grandchildren, Tyler Tollison, Lacey Tollison, Kyli Faulkner, Logan Faulkner and Noah Faulkner; and three great-grandchildren, Austin, Ayden, and Gage Tollison.
Einan’s at Sunset in Richland, Washington, is in charge of the arrangements.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, at Victory Baptist in Kennewick, Washington.
