CAMDEN — Dorothy Hawkins
Dorothy “Bannie” Owens-Hawkins passed away on Jan. 8, 2018. She was born on Nov. 29, 1952, to father James Harvey Owens and mother Gertrude Owens.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Harvey Owens; sister, Sarah Owens; and brother, James Edward Owens.
She is survived by her mother, Gertrude Owens; husband, Jerry Hawkins Sr.; sons, Jerry Hawkins Jr., Jeremy Hawkins, and Jonathan Hawkins; daughter, Lakeisha Green; brothers, John Owens and Ed Owens; sister, Billie Jean Sumler; and nine grandchildren.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church.
