will host revival event

First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, 1674 Maul Road, will hold a revival from July 8-12. Speaker will include Jared Picket, Cole Bailey, Tommy King, James Cox, and Donnie Dillard.

Harmony Grove United Methodist Church will hold a “Huge Garage Sale” from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 13th.

Pilgrim Rest list its

upcoming programs

Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, 675 Viser Ave., will hold its Youth Day at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, July 14. The guest speaker will be Bro. Antonio Davis of Douglas Chapel Baptist Church in El Dorado. The theme will be “Speaking with Authority and Power.”

The church will also hold a Youth Revival at 7 p.m. nightly from July 15-17. The revival will share the same theme as the Youth Day. The evangelist for the event will be the Rev. Felton F. Burgie of Morning Star Baptist Church in El Dorado.

Union AME will hold its homecoming event

Union AME Church in Chidester will hold its homecoming program at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 14.

The Rev. Willie Ford will be the guest speaker.

Macedonia AME to

observe anniversary

Macedonia AME Church will celebrate its 134th church anniversary at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 14.

The guest speaker will be the Rev. Kelly Green of Greater St. Mark AME Church in Thornton.

welcomes new pastor

Elliott Baptist Church welcomes its new pastor, Johnny Parrack, and his wife, Judy. He has pastored churches in South Arkansas and led worship as well. Johnny comes to Elliott from Trinity Baptist in Benton where he served as worship pastor for several years. The public is invited to worship at 10:45 a.m. on Sundays, with Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday nights Bible Study begins at 6:30 p.m.
