CAMDEN — The SAU Tech Kidz College will feature basketball and cheer camps in addition to other skill areas later this month.
The event will be held from July 2-Aug. 1 on the campus of SAU Tech.
The Mini cheer camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1-5 p.m. daily and is for children ages 4-11. The participants will learn a cheer and a dance routine while also playing a variety of games and having fun. The campers will also get to perform at a college scrimmage ball game.
The basketball Skills and Drills camp will be from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily and is for children ages 7-14. This camp is open to boys and girls and will focus on learning the foundations of shooting, proper steps, stance, and more.
Kids College will also feature a variety of other camps with focuses in agriculture, singing, radio, Adobe Illustrator, investigating, photography, energy collisions and energy transformations.
The cost of each camp is $35 and that will include supplies, a t-shirt, and snacks.
Registration and payment deadline is July 15th. Late registration and payment deadline is July 22 and a $5 late fee will be charged.
