The first annual South Arkansas All Girl Basketball Fundamental Camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 26 and 27 at Camden Bible Baptist Church, 1245 California Ave. The theme for the camp is “Balling with a Purpose.”
The camp is for girls ages 5-14 years old. All girls will receive a free t shirt and gifts. Lunch will be served both days and participants will get to compete in a three point contest and free throw contest. The deadline to pay is July 5. CF Bands sets July 27 fundraiser
The Camden Fairview Band will have its first annual mattress fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 27 at the C.F. High School Commons Area.
Participants can save up to 50 percent off retail on name brand mattresses. The event will have all mattress sizes, firm, pillow-top, orthopedic, latex and gel memory foam sets, adjustable beds, luxury pillows, mattress protectors and more. People can pay with cash, check or credit cards. The mattresses are brand new and will come with full factory warranties. Layaway, delivery and financing is available.

Walk to end Alzheimers to feature celebrity b-ball game
The 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Planning Committee for the South Arkansas Walk is proud to announce the kick off event for this year’s Walk!!
The 2019 #ENDALZ Celebrity Basketball Game will be held on July 12th from 6 – 8 p.m. at the El Dorado Wildcat Arena. All donations and proceeds will benefit the 2019 South Arkansas Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Admission to the game is free after signing up for the Walk (to be held on September 14, 2019). Special guest entertainment, local celebrities, door prizes, dance/cheer teams, concessions & lots of fun headed your way!!
