Arkansas Pulpwood had a dominant weekend resulting in the APW 17U team winning the El Dorado tournament championship for the first time in three years. The APW 15U and 19U also went undefeated.

The Pulpwood 17U team has advanced to the finals of the El Dorado tournament three straight years but came up short. This time was different as the 17U defeated Bowie County, Texas, 7-4.

Gunner Branch pitched all seven innings for Pulpwod to earn the win. Payton Byrd and Oren Mccoy made ESPN-like catches in the outfield to lead the defense, while Brach held Bowie County to only seven hits and three walks. Branch was 2-4 batting while McCoy was 2-2 with two walks. Connor Herrington was 1-2, Amzi East was 1-4, and Walker Brown was 1-3.

Pulpwood went 4-0 during the tournament.

The APW 19s defeated the Texarkana Razorbacks 16-6 and 6-3 behind strong pitching from Trent Buntting, Keelan Hodge, Remy Bilodean, Sam West and Jay French.

The APW 15U defeating the El Dorado Drillers 2-1 in the finals. The APW 15U scored more than 30 runs in its four games in the tournament.
