CAMDEN — Priscilla Jones
Priscilla J. Jones, 77, of Camden, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at the Ouachita County Medical Center.
She was born on April 8, 1941, in Prescott, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Isaac Sanford and Norma Estelle Stone Tomlin. She was born in Prescott and lived in Camden. She received her early education at Fairview School. She later attended Foster’s Business School.
Also, she was a member of Timothy United Methodist Church. Joyce was sweet in spirit and firm in faith, which helped her deal with the many obstacles she faced in life. She made life-long friends and made everyone feel like family.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Ann and James Allen of Camden; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Susan Tomlin of Godfrey, Illinois, and Ricky and Sherry Tomlin of Camden; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Jesse Hunter of Phoenix, Arizona; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Jamie and Jadie Allen of Camden; two granddaughters, Julieanna and Jessica Allen - both of Camden; and many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
Proctor Funeral Home of Camden is in charge of the arrangements.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Benny Morgan officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 22, at the funeral home.
