CAMDEN — Henry Purifoy
Henry Purifoy, 93, of Camden, Arkansas, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.
He was the son of the late Wesley and Virgie McCommon Purifoy. He was a member of Westside United Methodist Church and owner of Motor Port Body Shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Vila F. Purifoy; two brothers; and six sisters.
He is survived by two sons, Billy Carroll Burroughs and wife, Kathy, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Clifford Lee Burroughs and wife, Johnlyn, of Camden; daughter, Penny Lynn Edge and husband, Jeff, of Dothan, Alabama; two grandsons, Brent Burroughs and Alex Edge; two granddaughters, Jill Lane and Viktoriya Edge; one great-grandson, Spencer Lane; one great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Lane; special niece, Jeannie Jester; special nephew, Dennis Russell; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation was held from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, at the funeral home. Funeral service were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, also at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Goza officiating.
Burial was at Bethesda Cemetery.
