Pansy Jean Erickson, 92, of El Dorado, Arkansas, died on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado.

She was born on Sept. 28, 1926, in Hampton, Arkansas. She was a retired treasurer for Calhoun County, and a member of First Baptist Church in El Dorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Myrtle Haynes Ables; and her husband of 48 years, Alex Erickson.

She is survived by one son, Raymond G. Erickson and his wife, Linda, of Lewisville; one daughter, Angela and her husband, Britt Stewart, of El Dorado; one grandson, Aaron Stewart and his wife, Faith Evans, of Memphis, Tennessee; three granddaughters, Maleah Williamson and her husband, Teddy, of Stamps, Mindy Morton and her husband, Dickie, of Lewisville, and Brigitte Stewart Haney and her husband, Billy, of El Dorado; three great-grandsons, Hayden Haney of El Dorado, Jackson Stewart of Memphis, and Harrison Haney of El Dorado; five great-granddaughters, Megan Morton Cullipher and her husband, Joe, of Lewisville, Madison Morton of Lewisville, Erin Haney of El Dorado, Ashton Stewart, and Ainsley Stewart of Memphis.

Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 24, at First Baptist Church in Hampton with the Rev. Steve Fleming and the Rev. Mike Nutt officiating. Burial will be at Pickett Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today, Thursday May 23, at First Baptist Church in Hampton.
