St. Louis Catholic to host charity Bingo

St. Louis Cathoic Church, 202 N. Adams Ave., will have its Bingo for Chartiy night on Friday, Oct. 11. Concessions will open at 5:30 p.m. with the Progressive game of Bingo starting at 6:15 p.m. The Progressive game will be over $1,950 for the the month of October. There will be over $4,100 in cash prizes.

New Haven Church sets musical program

New Haven Baptist Church, 336 Stewart St., will hold a Fall Musical Program at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Rising Star will hold

an installation event

Rising Star Baptist Church of Amy will hold an installation service for its new pastor, S.L. Thomas, at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13.

The speaker will be the Rev. E. Farley of New Olive Branch Baptist Church of El Dorado.

New Beginnings will

hold special program

New Beginning Ministries, 1725 Mt.Holly Road, will hod a special “Women in the Bible” program at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13.

The speaker for the program will be Evangelist Angela Avery of St. Paul Christian Church in Camden. Lunch will be served at 2:30 p.m. (The program is hosted by New Deliverance Worship Center.)

Two Bayou shares

its upcoming events

Historic Two Bayou United Methodist Church - located 10 miles west of Camden off of U.S. 278 West - will hold homecoming services beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13.

An old-fashioned potluck lunch will be shared following the services. The wooden structure is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The church will also hold a revival at 6 p.m. nightly from Oct. 13-15. David Moore will be the speaker.

Pleasant Hill MBC

sets Colorama event

Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church at 20 Pleasant Hill Road in Chidester will hold a Colorama at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20.

The guest speaker will be the Rev. Jerry Bishop of St. John Baptist Church in Bluff City.

Group to meet, plan World Community Day

The Camden and Ouachita County Church Women group will meet for their World Community Day on Nov. 1 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Camden First United Methodist Church, 121 Harrison St. Camden Ar.

Everyone is invited to attend.
