Born on March 9, 1940 in Locust Bayou to Winnie Todd-King and Willie Lee King, Boyce Myrle King passed from this life on Oct. 26, 2019.

Boyce was preceded in death by his parents Winnie and Willie King; siblings Marlon King, WL King, Ramona Denton, Howard King, Gladys Seaton and Eunice Kilpatrick.

Boyce is survived by his wife of almost 59 years, Tressie King; his sister, Pat McKelva; two children, Tami King-Beevers and Todd King (Tammie) all of Camden; five grandaughters, Tiffany Daniels, Haylie McClure, Tiffani King and Taylor King, all of Camden, and Melody Points of Sparkman; six great grandchildren, Rhonda, Paiden, Elise, Billy, Aliance and Averly Rue; and a host of neices, nephews, and cousins as well as his beloved Weaver family he happily maried into in 1960.

Boyce served in the U.S. Navy for a number of years on active duty as well as reserve. He worked several years in Defense Companies in East Camden, but he most enjoyed his time as the owner/operator of King Korner Grocery.

Upon retirement he became an avid outdoorsman with hunting, gardening and especially fishing.

The family asks that lieu of flowers, donations and be made to Pleaseant Ridge Assembly of God in Camden.
