Sylvan Hill will host
an AWANA program
Sylvan Hills Baptist Church at 3584 Arkansas 376 South, will hold an AWANA Program from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4, for ages three through those in grade 12. Children must be potty trained to attend the program.
Two Bayou UMC sets
homecoming program
Two Bayou United Methodist Church will hold homecoming services beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8. The church is located 10 miles west of Camden off of U.S. 278 West. The speaker for the event will be Jessica Durand of Arkadelphia. She is the director of the H.S.U./O.B.U. Wesley Foundation. An old-fashioned potluck lunch will be shared following the services. The church is a wooden structure and is listed on the national Register of Historic Places.

sets special program
Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church located at 200 Pleasant Hill Road in Chidester - will hold a 17th anniversary celebration for its pastor, Rodney Phillips, and his family at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8.
The guests will be Chapel Hill Baptist Church and Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Batesville, Mississippi.

CME Temple Church, 414 Adams Ave. N.W., will hold a two-day event for its 4th Annual Choir Anniversary service at 6 p.m. on Saturday, September, 21, with a musical event with choirs and praise dancers.
At 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, the guest speaker will be the Rev. Nancy Lott of Koinonia of Grace Church. Food will be served.
